Ice Forms On Brown’s River
December 8th, 2013
I found myself with an hour and a half of free time and I was just minutes down the road from the Old Red Mill in Jericho, Vermont. I bundled up, grabbed my gear and began hunting for interesting scenes along the cold, raging river that runs along side the mill.
I had not been out wandering in a week or so, and that’s much to long to go without using my camera eye. My physical eyes must have been wide, my head was likely bobbing back and forth as the craving to create photographs was strong, and my time was limited. I moved quickly but cautiously over the slippery rocks and frozen earth with tripod in gloved hand.
The image above was created out of five exposures shot with an ND filter.
